Valere Event and Video Productions took photos of team members at Upscale Lawncare to be used for a “Meet the Team” page on their website.

PROFESSIONAL HEADSHOTS
The pictures were taken at Upscale’s office in Monfort Heights, Ohio. We set up in the lobby, utilizing its wide area to give us ample room for our equipment. Three lights were used to illuminate both the subjects and the background. Our cutting-edge Sony FX3 camera, mounted on a monopod, snapped each photo.
To emphasize our subjects, we placed them far away from the wall. The lens that we used was set to a small aperture, giving each image a shallow depth of field. Various elements in the background, such as a plant and a projector, provided visual interest without being distracting.
WEBPAGE IMAGES
When capturing website headshots, presentation is important. We made sure that the Upscale logo was visible on each team member’s clothing, creating an additional layer of cohesion and brand awareness on the site page.
Thanks to the high resolution of the FX3 camera, we had flexibility when editing the pictures. Each one was cropped to the same size to create ideal framing. Adjustments were made to colors and lighting to bring out the best of each subject. Even when edits are made, care is taken to preserve the authenticity of each person on our cameras. Presenting a genuine version of yourself is an important part of connecting to your audience.
FAST TURNAROUNDS
In the span of a few days, the photos were taken, edited, and ready to be posted on Upscale’s website.
